Simple Prayer
This prayer we pray
On this glorious day
To our Heavenly father above
Please fill our lives with understanding
Wisdom, hope and love.
Give us this day our daily bread
We shall share it with one and all
Please forgive us our debts and debtors
And help us stand upright and tall.
Oh Lord we seek your guidance
Throughout every beautiful day
As you lead us above temptation
And we learn to live your way.
Success
Within my heart of hearts
There's a song of joy and love
I am so truly blessed
With the glory from above.
My family's love and devotion
Is so warm and great and deep
I feel so overwhelmed
With this responsibility that I must keep.
But love has its rewards
That no words will ever express
It's faith in God and family
That are the greatest signs of success.
Glory
Truth and honor are the tools
To fight the battles
With mindless fools
Their value greater
Than priceless jewels
This we must not forget.
Into the fray with hope and love
With inspiration
From above
At conflicts end
We release the dove
To cleanse the blood we've let.
Onward and upward! Our victory cry
For fallen friends
Our spirits sigh
But they have gone
Beyond the sky
Released... from this earthly debt.
Deeper Seas
We've set sail on an ocean with a chart made of dreams
With the deep blue below us and above, the sun beams
These hearts full of hope bring a song to our lips
An ancient tune of seas to sail our tall crystal ships.
Oh fix on a star that shines brighter than most
It's the one in the lighthouse of our Heavenly host
It lights the way to treasures that so few have ever seen
And takes you to places that even fewer have been.
Golden fountains, azure pools, such beauty unknown
Silver waves lap silky shores leaving prismatic foam
Thick forest's of emerald green that reach to the sky
Diamond mountain's jagged peaks so brilliant to the eye.
So let's pull up the anchor 'cause it's time to set sail
Compared to this destination all others do pale
The voyage starts right now with a song on our lips
An ancient tune of seas to sail our tall crystal ships.

Your love is so much greater
Than we can understand
It envelops us and permeates
Everyone in every land.
You reach right through the barriers
That we mortals always build
And caress our tired hearts
Making sure our cup is filled.
Please help us to discover
That which we're longing for
To know we'll find the answers
When we knock upon your door.
And when we gather together
Upon this earthly plane
Immerse us in the certainty
That we'll be with you again.
Singing Soul
Rejoice my friends the time has come
To set your fears aside
The season rings with hope anew
As the Heaven's open wide.
Let's revel in the Spirit of light
That makes all things become whole
And look ahead to a greater life
With a singing praising soul.
The Coming
Dancing stars illuminate
The deep black satin night
Desert floor begins to glow
Soft vapors, angelic light.
Great universe is heralding
The coming of our King
Heavenly tower's crystal bells
Resound their eternal ring.
Rejoice O ye of steadfast faith
Our prayerful hearts unfurled
God sends his son, a newborn child
The Saviour to the world.
Sacrifice
Sacrifice your idols
Throw them in the fire
Recognize they're meaningless
To higher things aspire.
Throw away your hollow self
Cast it off for good
Incinerate the tangled mess
Burn it with the wood.
See the smoke rise upward
Wafting swirling waves
Symbolic of the course you've set
No longer idol slaves.
Words
Say what you will
For a joke or a thrill
But the power of words is well known.
Spoken softly or loud
Either humbly or proud
Remember these are the seeds that you've sown.
They will come back some day
In some form or way
And surprise you when you least expect it.
Maybe gentle and kind
Or they may strike you blind
These are rules that cannot be rejected.
One Small Candle
One small candle
Lights the room
Gallantly battles
Encroaching doom.
Burning brightly
Despite the odds
Never flickers
Never nods.
Bravely fights
With every breath
Courageous front
To certain death.
We may learn
From one small light
Against the dark
One light burns bright.
Bells
From high towers
Filled with bells
Hammered metals
Cast their spells
Resonating
Hope and glory
Ethers vibrate
Harmonic story
Earth joins in
This symphony
Resounding triumph
Eternally.
Heaven
Let us fly beyond light
Out of visible sight
Our souls will shine so bright
Immersed in euphoric delight.
When we arrive we'll surely see
Shimmering sails on deep azure seas
How indescribably happy we will be
In pastoral tranquility.
Sanctuary of the Innocents
What treasures are held
in a child’s small hands
the baubles and trinkets
from imaginary lands.
Tiny beads and broken pins
of great untold worth
under bed digs artifacts
from the center of the earth.
Sacred boxes on the shelf
keep these holy finds
sanctuary of the innocents
the uncluttered mind.
Purity and honor
give life to simple joys
awaiting that sad day when
they no longer play with toys.
Peace
Soft billowy clouds
Over a pastel landscape
On canvas of light
Hope
Hope springs electric...
A sparkling fountain of light
that illuminates the path we walk.
A living glowing shimmering trail
from birth to Heaven.
Love
We are whirlwinds of molecules
dancing harmonic creations
spiraling beyond the stars.
It’s a great astral breeze
upon which we’re sailing...
homeward bound...
to the infinite embrace
of God.
